Hyundai is Total Shit

It will be a cold day in hell before I own a Hyundai ever again. I would sooner chug Drano. Hyundais are total shitboxes. I own a 2005 Tiburon, which by an amazing coincidence needs a whole new automatic transmission, bare months after the warrantee has expired. I could buy a resepctable used car for what this repair is going to cost me.

This was a question my brother asked me one night as we were coming home from karate
. The issue has to do with the logistics... what sort of attendants do you have, what do you wear, etc. The short answer is, it works however you want. The long answer is that it doesn't work much differently than any other wedding.

Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog

I'm home sick today and I decided to re-watch Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog. What an awesome movie or show or whatever. It was released in three 15 min episodes over the internet during the writers' strike, and stars Neil Patrick Harris as the anti-hero, Dr. Horrible. It centres around a love triangle between Dr. Horrible, his nemesis, the superhero Captain Hammer, played by Nathan Fillion, and Dr. Horrible's laundromat crush, the shy and philanthropic Penny played by Felicia Day.

Tim Horton's has a new French Onion Soup promotional item. It looks really good on the posters and I love french onion soup, so I decided to give it a try. I got my chance when Matt and I were on our way to Bathurst and stopped at the Tim Hortons in Cap Pelé, New Brunswick.

When I quit ARC (Abegweit Rainbow Collective, the gay and lesbian group on PEI - I just want to emphasize, strongly, that I did not have anything to do with designing the site that's there now!!), I had experimentally created a phpBB bulletin board for the ARC web site, which I had designed and was managing at the time, as a community service. Hardly anyone used it but there were a few and I didn't want to abandon the experiment just because I wasn't going to be involved with ARC any more. So I registered www.QueerIsland.org and re-created the bulletin board.

Hunter's Ale House in Charlottetown has the advertising catch phrase "Great food, great rock, and lots of it." Well, the rock is all right, but I'll definitely never go there for the food again.
Ollie North's Gold

This week we bought Volume 4 of American Dad. The absolute highlight for me is that it contains the "search for Ollie North's gold" episode. This one is a gem for two reasons. The second reason is the inclusion of the geologist at the end who is portrayed as absolutely the coolest person who ever lived on account of being a geologist. A big shout out to my Dad
. The first reason, though, is the "School House Rock" style rendition of a little song explaining who Ollie North is for the benefit of Steve, who is way too young to know about Iran-Contra.
The Dollhouse

This may not be a popular opinion. There is actually a lot of hate directed at this show from some quarters, and a lot of it is coming specifically from Joss Whedon fans. The core complaint, besides the segment who feel that Eliza Dushku's acting abilities aren't up for the job, seems to be that Dollhouse is not like Joss Whedon's previous work.
Religion and Type: An MBTI Perspective

This article is the first in a series of articles that I originally posted to various mailing lists which at one time or another made it up on to my original web page. This one was posted to the Yahoo Groups INFJ list some time in 2004 and is about the Myers-Briggs personality type indicator and its (putative) application to religion
.
